Chapter Seven

Wendy awaken slowly, shaking her head to rid of her mind of what seemed to be cobwebs. Damn, she thought, what did I do last night, that I feel so funny now? It wasn't exactly a hangover that she was suffering, because her stomach wasn't upset the way it always was after she drank too much, but the feeling was akin to the aftermath of overindulgence in alcohol.

The Hellenic Games are back. Destiny has graduated from college and is participating her first alumnae version of the Hellenic Games with her mother, Harmony.    The next day's beginning could not have been more 
surprising for Janet.  She had slept deeply in her jail 
cell, and so had Tiffany.  Janet had rolled over bed, 
finally coming awake.

Sarah didn’t sleep that well, as she struggled to get comfortable. If she laid on her back, her new tattoo tried to stick to her nightshirt, and if she slept on her front, her new piercings pulled. Eventually she found a position on her side which was a compromise. Fortunately the long day had whacked Pete, and he slept through it all.

Again, she waited until he had gone down for breakfast before getting up and pulling on her robe. He again raised an eyebrow when she only took juice and coffee.

Caught Peeking on a Job Interview
